The Piecemakers’ Guild, Karachi, comprises a group of talented artists and crafters whose preferred medium of expression is fabric. They create a body of quilted patchwork items which are not only beautiful to look at but are also utilitarian in purpose. The group has been working together since 2008 and has held several well-attended exhibitions of their work in the city. Various members have entered their work in international quilt exhibitions in Dubai and United Kingdom, representing Pakistan in the field of patchwork and quilting and have won critical acclaim as well as several awards.
The Quilt Show-2023 will be their first exhibition after life resumed post-covid.
